GCash & Maya: deposits and withdrawals
Most Filipino players pay with an e-wallet. Here's how to do it without getting stuck, scammed or flagged.
The one rule
Only pay through the cashier inside your casino account. A licensed brand will never ask you to send money to a personal GCash or Maya number, a "cashier agent" on Messenger, or a QR code someone sent you in a chat.
Depositing
- Log in on the brand's official site or app. Type the domain yourself.
- Open Deposit or Cashier and choose GCash, Maya or QRPh.
- You'll be sent to a payment screen or shown a merchant QR code. Check that the merchant name matches the operator, not a person's name.
- Approve the payment in your e-wallet. The balance usually shows within a few minutes.
- If you want a deposit bonus, check whether you have to opt in before you pay. Many promos can't be added afterwards.
Some brands run e-wallet-specific promos, like ArenaPlus's ₱50 bonus for new Maya users on a ₱1,000 deposit. They're small, but they're one of the few promos with simple terms.
Withdrawing
- Finish KYC first. Upload a valid ID and a selfie when you sign up, not when you've just won. Most "withdrawal stuck" complaints are unfinished verification.
- Withdraw to an account in your own name. The name on your e-wallet has to match your casino account. Payouts to someone else's wallet are rejected.
- Clear active bonuses. If a bonus is still in turnover, the withdrawal button may be locked, or cashing out may cancel the bonus.
- Check limits. Brands set minimum and maximum amounts per withdrawal and per day. Big wins may be paid in parts.
E-wallet changes since 2025
In 2025, after a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas directive, GCash and Maya removed the gambling shortcuts and links inside their apps. Licensed sites can still take e-wallet payments through their own cashier. Any site or "agent" saying you need to go through them instead is a red flag.
Payment scams we see most
- "Pay a fee to release your winnings." Real casinos don't charge a release fee. Anyone asking for one is scamming you.
- OTP requests. No casino, e-wallet or "support agent" needs your one-time PIN. Never share it.
- Telegram and Facebook "cashiers". They take your deposit and disappear, or load fake credits on a cloned site.
- "Free ₱100 to GCash" posts. Usually a way to collect your number, or to send you to a copycat site.
Common questions
How long does a GCash withdrawal from a casino take?
With KYC done and no active bonus, many licensed brands pay e-wallet withdrawals within minutes to a few hours. First withdrawals and large amounts can take longer because of extra checks.
Why was my withdrawal rejected?
The most common reasons are unfinished ID verification, a bonus still in turnover, a name mismatch between your casino account and e-wallet, or an amount outside the brand's limits.
Can I use my partner's GCash?
No. Withdrawals go only to an account in the account holder's name, and sharing accounts can get yours closed.
